This project provides SDOT with on-call consultant services to support the development of transit capital programs and projects. The scope aims at expanding and improving Seattle’s transit network through the planning and design of Transit-Plus Multimodal Corridor projects and other transit corridor capital improvements in the City. In support of SDOT and King County Metro’s transit planning, Forman Consulting Services’ scope included developing sketch-level estimates of transit treatments for county-wide implementation. Based on a review of current transit performance metrics, the project developed a web-based tool to identify potential future transit project areas, and the cost estimates were used to validate the costs and benefits of implementing future projects.
