Transit Planning & Conceptual Design Work Order II

Forman Consulting Services serves as the lead civil engineer on King County Metro’s Transit Planning contract, the second such contract the firm has held. The scope spans transit planning, conceptual design, and preliminary engineering design. Work has centered on preliminary assessments and planning for transit centers, optimizing site designs and building in capacity for future expansion and transit service growth. The contract also includes partnership projects among King County Metro, WSDOT, Sound Transit, and SDOT, where Forman Consulting confirms that geometric designs meet both design requirements and service needs.
