King Count Metro Transit

Forman Consulting Services serves as the lead civil engineer providing transit planning, conceptual design, preliminary engineering design, sustainable and equitable services to King County Metro. This work has involved partnerships between King County Metro, WSDOT, Sound Transit, and SDOT to ensure that geometric designs of future freeway interchanges, roadways, and transit centers safely accommodate access for Metro, Community Transit, Pierce Transit, and Sound Transit coaches. This project was fast-paced and time-sensitive to meet the aggressive schedule from WSDOT’s design build contracts and Sound Transit transit center service dates.
