Transit Planning & Capital Improvements On-Call

This project provides SDOT with on-call consultant services to support the development of transit capital programs and projects. The scope of work aims at expanding and improving Seattle’s transit network through the planning and design of Transit-Plus Multimodal Corridor projects and other transit corridor capital improvements in the City. In support of SDOT and King County Metro’s transit planning, Forman Consulting Services scope included developing sketch-level estimates of transit treatments for county-wide implementation. Based on a review of current transit performance metrics, the project has developed a web-based tool to identify potential future transit project areas. The cost estimates were then used to validate cost and benefits of implementing future projects.
