NE 153rd Place – Safe Routes to School

Stephanie served as the project manager and design manager for the NE 153^rd Safe Routes to School project which created a safe passage for students and is key to the City of Kenmore’s Target Zero goal in achieving zero pedestrian and bicyclist fatalities and injuries by 2025.  This project constructs a missing link of sidewalk leading from a residential community to Arrowhead Elementary School and Bastyr University.  Once connected with Juanita Drive NE corridor, this will link the neighborhood to a full complete streets facility of non-motorized facilities to the waterfront, key regional destinations, universities, neighborhoods, and commercial areas.
