Auburn Way South (SR 164) Corridor Improvements
Project Overview
Stephanie managed the project as well as the project design (including preliminary design alternatives) for the City of Auburn. This project included access management, U-turns, transit stops, and street lighting, and it widened Auburn Way South (SR 164) to accommodate turn lanes and pedestrians. Sidewalks and pedestrian push buttons were upgraded to meet current ADA standards, including countdown pedestrian signals and audible pedestrian push buttons. Traffic signals were also upgraded to improve both phasing and signal head visibility. Stephanie led all of the WSDOT coordination, including Channelization Plans for Approval and Design Variance documentation.
